Problem with my shifter

I own a 94 prelude. I have a problem with my auto-shifter. It got stuck in park...It will not shift out of park. I tried sticking the key in the lock-disable slot, but it will not go in at all...I don't know aht is wrong with it...I have even removed the actual shifter handle thingy to see if maybe anything got stuck or is preventing it to shift...I noticed that the mechanism gets stuck after I pushed it down...I tried to spray some WD40 to see if I could loosen something, but nothing has happend.

Please If someone can help me...I am stuck...I can't drive...

i really can't tell much from your description, but it sounds to me like that rod that releases the shifter from park is getting dstuck some place. it might be the shifter solenoid. remove the center console too, and try to see what is going on. one of my friends accord was doing that and he used some grease to make it work.
