Bad Fuel Pump?
Ok so ive got a 92 civic AT... and about a week ago my car was really low on gas, so it took like 10 times to start (it would crank but not fire up). Didn't think much of it because of the gas issue....
But then yesterday (with plenty of gas in the tank) i turn the car off to get the mail, then immediately turn it back on 30secs later... starts up fine but when i shift into gear it sorta puttered out. i turned it off and started it again and it worked. then i sat in the parking lot right after that, tried it, and it wouldnt start. i checked the engine for anything visable, but nothing. i immediately try again after than and it starts fine. i drove it around for a while after that and there wasnt a problem. the guys at the shop say it sounds like a bad fuel pump... sort of in and out problems... i mean, it is 11 years old. what do you think?
