Looking for NE FL Mechanic
I recently bought a 1996 civic ex and it is the first car i care to mod. I'm looking for a local mechanic to have a few things checked out (problems with headlights, water leaking into floorboard somehow, needs to be tuned properly, etc) and to do future work on the car (replacing internals, installing turbo, etc).
i live in the st augustine area and would be willing to drive to jacksonville, orange park, gainesville, daytona, palm coast, or anywhere within that range.

OT: There's a couple Floridians that might know a person they could hook you up with. I know Darin is from FL but not sure if he's in the area you're looking for or if he does all the work himself.
OFT: I like the two tone, my friend plans on doing the same thing. Painting from the pinstriping up and getting a CF hood and trunk.

yeah having it checked through is a good idea, but the best idea is to learn a majority of the stuff for two reasons. A. when shit breaks you can fix it yourself and save yourself some change, and B. you'll know what's going on with your car and know that you did it.
Also, browse around the board and use the search button before you post a question, cause chances are, we've probably talked about it. There is an extreme wealth of knowledge here, you just gotta be willing to learn it. and welcome to HST. (think it could use bigger rims )
