whats wrong?
yeh so i just got a new home-compact stereo system last week from best buy...its a sharp 360watt system with 2 4-way speakers...lately wenever i crank up the volume...the right speaker starts to tick...with the bass...but it isnt a note in teh song...is my speaker blown...and i didnt get that damn factory replacemtn warranty from best buy...i dunno if sharp has a warranty and i think i lost my receipt...dammit...lemme kno what u guys think

if you filled out the card, yes
but I have actually never thought sharp to be that good of a company (quality wise) I had an MD recorder of theirs a few yrs ago and it only lasted 2yrs w/ normal use. My sony ones have lasted much longer w/ the same usage. |

if you just bought it, best buy has a 30 day in store warrenty, so its all good, and the speaker thing i dont know?

oh u sure about that 30 day warranty...i thoguht it was 14 days...damn i better find my reciept...coudl my speaker be blown

im really sure its 30 as well
But you'll only be able to exchange for the same product...no return because its opened. If the same thing happens w/ the second stereo Im sure you could argue that the product is crap and you want a full refund or, at the very least, store credit. |

I'm not sure if US rules are different than CAD but here you can get a full refund even on open boxes!
and yes..it's 30 days...14 days are for computer stuff. |
