Looking to improve heel-toe action

Looking at some new "pedals"....er..."covers", to do this.

I really like the mugens, because of the mesh, (which will basically eliminate slipping)...but the price of $175/set is WAAAY more than I want to pay for something like that.
Which brought me to:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WD1V

The price is right and its the same style. Ive asked the seller for dimensions, so if theyre in spec w/ mugen (or at least somewhat similar) I might just buy these. I know it wont be perfectly identical, and it will probably need some work...but for $25 it might be alright.
Ive also seen the Razo's which are a cf design...and I hate that.
Ichibahn also has something similar, but they cost more, and only come in gunmetal. Plus they have this chrome triangle on them...

Anyone else using aftermarket "pedals" with a larger gas pedal? How did it effect your heel-toe downshift?

actually its pedal height thats my concern
I cannot heel toe, because my feet are too big and my heel gets caught on the edge of the foot-well

I need to big-little toe, so thats why i need them closer together.

eh screw it...I'll bend em more

The only thing would be to make sure you mount the gas pedal high enough so it doesn't bottom out preventing full throttle. I had to do that with mine. I like the ones your looking they look cool.
