well think, stock it's probably about 110whp?
so about 50 horse gain isn't too bad i suppose, obviously it could be better. I'm willing to bet the emanage is the weak link but as long as you have it set so it won't blow itself up, then just drive it and get used to it and save up for a better engine management. The torque is good. Hondas suck at providing nice torque numbers and are usually considerably lower that horsepower numbers, so seeing it's 154ft/lb vs. 158hp. is kind of odd but good. Do you have the graph so we can see it?

Not bad for stock boost. If you have a digicam, just take a picture of the dynograph and post it. I'd like to see where your peak power is on the rev band....

i already looked, i don't think they make it for civics. I think i'm gonna get that new 3 inch turbo system from thermal r&d come spring time. Maybe convince my parents for my b-day.

yea cause i was interested in it, check their website. I'm pretty sure they only make it for factory turbocharged vehicles whereas thermal r&d makes their 3 inch turbo system for civic, integras, and factory turbo'd cars

they do make the GReddy TT for civics, but greddy never updates their sites. so maybe a month or two..
btw those dyno numbers are great!! awesome torque! i dynoed mine also but it ran super lean at 17:1 so the emanage is DEFINITELY the weak link... it dyno'd at 7 psi

Remove the cat or get a high flow cat from random-tech. Kteller at Honda-Tech also sells pre-fab 3 inch piping for civics. You will have to get a muffler tho. I've seen these systems. Pretty nice. most people use the N1 style muffler.
All I have is a modified downpipe. I cut that tiny ass GReddy DP and made me a 2.5 inch instead. No cat. I ran a 2.5 inch pipe all the way and a thermal R&D muffler. I havent dynoed my civic since. Thermal R&D 3 inch is the way to go tho. I bought mine from Hondaman-iac brand new..... for my Teg. He hooked me up. Just a reminder to everyone, the pipe will not bolt directly to your stock cat. you'll have to get either a test pipe or modify the cat. In my case, I have no cat. I made my own test pipe..... |

hey sohc_vtec 2NR your a/f ratio is just fucked eh?
even around 6K it's still at like 14, i thought normal readings under full throttle in the upper rpm band are supposed to be around 12? (hence richer=safer)

That is kind of weird, because when I got my whip dynoed I made 225whp @7.5psi Arnel saw the print out that same day, Although I was running my Hondata set up.
I still got that shitty Greddy dp, I'm bout to buy the 3" dp from kteller.com and a 3" quick time elctronic cut out from quicktimeperformance.com and come x-stmas I am getting the thermal r&d 3" turbo exahust. I can wait to get some numbers then, oh and I am going for broke @ 12psi on stock internals.
