Opinions on Metal Gear
So i spent nearly 2 days straight playing Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater
and i was wondering if anyone has finished it yet. By far the most emotional video game ever lol. The end made me shed a tear when all the truths finally come out. All in all Kojima has not let me down and has brought something new to the series. too bad we will have to wait until PS3 comes out to see what and if they plan to continue the series. Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 9.5 out of 10 |

YES... someone else that loves the series...
Unfortunately I have not gotten a chance to play the new one...my g/f is getting it for x-mass for me... How did you like the 2nd one? I thought it was great…. Is there anything I have to look frwd to in the new one besides the fact snake is really big boss? I read they were starting on the fourth I just hope it covers some stuff where they lead from 2!!!

The first 2 were cool...but the fact that the vignettes take almost as much time as the game annoyed the crap out of me. Spare me the story...skip to the killing.

I dont know if you've gotten the chance to read up on it but in this game you start off and are able to find new outfits. camoflage as well as face paint so you blend in with your surroundings. most of the game you play in the jungle located in russia and lemme tell you its hard as shit. you have no radar like in the last 2 games so if you have to rely on sight and an annoying motion detector which runs on batteries that drain.
also silencers for weapons only last so long until they no longer suppress the gunshot. the bosses are rather difficult but I have to say other than Snake the coolest character is Ocelot..mayeb you'll better know him as Revolver Ocelot, but much younger, you'll see |

www.forest.ru/ check it out, You're gonna tell me the largest country in the world doesn't have a forest, hard to beleive anyways you also have to cure your own wounds. sometimes if you get shot you will have to dig the bullet out with your knife then apply disinfectants and bandage yourself. broken bone? no problem splint and bandage. and something that deals alot with injuries is your stamina. if you dont keep it up Snake becomes less agile. to keep it up you have to ea the flora and fauna around you to stay in good shape. also i got to say the detail they put into the game is amazing. |

Thinking like that is probably what made the game so hard for you.
