im a new kid...

hey.. i joined a while ago, but sort of forgot about it.. so.. im new.. i had a couple questions about my civic.. ive got a 95 dx coupe.. im dropping a d16y7 with a y8 head, ive got the tokico ilk suspension kit and rota slipstreams.. and some other stupid stuff... im looking into better braking.. i want to upgrade the front brakes but theres not much out there for dx.. do i need to get a complete ex front brake setup and go from there? or can i do brackets and rotors? and also the rear.. the trailing arms, upper and lower control arms are very similar to the teg.. is it possible to get rotors, calipers, lines, and e-cables and just slap them on? any heal would be awesome.. thanks
sean

welcome to the site... try asking the questions about civic brakes in the civic section, it gets alot more traffic than this area. im pretty sure your gonna swap to EX brakes though.

Welcome to HS....there is a teg setup you can get but can;t remember the yrs of which to get...You would just get the TA/LCA/Ebrake lines and if you pull the entire TA you will have the rotor, calipers, lines and ebrake lines all attached..

I hope that might help you a little...but definitely post up in suspension/civic section for more info/feedback...
