Hood latch????
I got a problem w/my hood! I had to replace a hood hinge and now the hood can't open anymore. I'm wondering if anyone has heard about adjusting the striker or something like that, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

the actual latch is adjustable, it has 3 bolts, losten them then shut the hood to determine if you need to adjust this, if you do then the hood will shut. Now when I say loosten them I dont mean take them almost out, I mean loosten them to where the latch can be moved with a little force by oneself. If the hood shuts tighten the bolts down to where it sits at when released, or remove the front bumper and have easy access to all the bolts when the hood is shut and adjusts itself. Also check your hood alignment when you are done, like the gap between each fender and hood, that will tell you how bad off your new/used hinge is. I know that my 97 EX has bolts in the hood stiker for adjustment and that doesnt seem too hard to figure out for the non-mechanically inclined so I assumed you meant the actual latch.
