Help with my CAI on my Civi!
Everything works just fine with my AEM cold air intake EXCEPT, when I am accelerating slowly, I get this whistling sound (not too loud, but still noticable). I thought I could learn to live with it, but it is driving me nuts! Any ideas? I didnt have this problem before I installed it. Other than that, the intake works great. Anyway, any suggestions or ideas on what it may be and a soultion would be great! Thanks!

Hmm... its normal to have an intake whistle. Mine isn't loud enough to be annoying though. Either that, or I just ignore it by now.

Its not going to go away. And you can't do anything except put your stock intake back on to make it go away. Its not that loud of a whistle. I had one on my 98 EX. Just turn on/up your radio.....

Apparently all the intakes to this, don't worry . mine is really loud for some reason and it drives me crazy. Almost sounds lik emy car is haunted. hah ah. I'm sure it's just a matter of getting used to. I know it sucks but would ya rather have the factory one on there? UMMMMMM, no.

that whistling noise is normal. u should hear it on a turboed car. imagine a combination of whistling, exhaust sound, engine sound, and a blow off valve at the beginning of every shift. i like it a lot..............that is just me tho.
