I hate news, especially local news.
All local news EVER does is say how bad every neighborhood in the city is and how terrible the state of the city/whatever is. I'm watching "trading wives" on abc right now (I'm super cool, I know), and a marquee just went across the bottom of the screen that said "Teen gunned down, tonight at 10." F*cking ridiculous that they have to parade around and focus so hard on the negative just to get viewers. The only time they EVER mention a good story is in the last 5 minutes or so of the news (and thats usually just the weather if it is good). I'm sick of the news, they are too negatively focused and ratings-driven. Blah.

I think I started a thread just like this a few months back. I hate local news. It's all trivial bullshit that matters to about 20 people.
