those are the trim models for the cars....have nothing to do with street racing or racing or really even performance for that matter with exception of the motor being different for an ex compared to the other trims in that it has vtec.
gsr is the sporty trim for the integra. the rs, gs, and ls models below it and the type r above it.

This is just a guess, but GSR probably stands for Grand Sport Rally or something similar. It's like the old school days of cars. Camaros had RS (Rally Sport) and SS (Super Sport) lines and Mustangs had LX, GT, GLX, GTS etc.
Like Silver said, their all just trim levels and don't have much to do with the engine (with few exceptions). One might have an extra couple suspension bits while another might have an extra 5-10hp, but for the most part it's all about interior and/or exterior option packages like gauge pods, upholstry, or wheels.

well the gsr is the same as the sir-g in japan. so they probably just moved the letters around. now as for what sir-g stands for......sport injected racing-good?

Last time on a car ad, I read GSR stands for Grand Sport Racing.
If you're really interested, the LX is usually the EX without the VTEC and the moonroof and they have hubs instead of sport wheels. DX is the completely stripped down version of the LX (no A/C, etc.), and in the older civic models they only came with manual transmission. |

DX = 2 door, no vtec. Commonly 5 speed
LX = 4 door, no vtec. Commonly Auto EX = 2 door, vtec. Commonly 5 speed HX = 2 door, treehugger version of vtec. 5 speed Si = 2 door, "souped up" version of ex, 5 speed

lol, some hondas have a decent amount for what they are.
if i had to choose a honda/acura car agian. i would look for a GSR integra, B18c swapped Civic hatch, or a H22a prelude.
