i bought mine at curcuit city for $75 for 12 square feet...
crotchfield had it for $20 for 10 square INCHES... i still think curcuit city is over priced, but it was a hella lot better then crutchfield... i only did my trunk lid, and i used almost all 12 sq. ft. i had maybe 1.5 sq. ft. left over.... but i also double layered the top part of my trunk lid (it rattled really bad) it worked extremely well...it almost completely silenced all the vibes from my lid (almost cuz its nearly impossible to kill all the vides) and it also reflects the bass off the back of the trunk making it sound more crisp up front and actually gives alot better bass....i dunno why, but my 6x9's on the rear deck sounded a hella lot better too i really suggest you consider doing it...just remember, take your time and plan ahead when applying, if you mess up, its nearly permanent (taking it off and trying to reapply will not work, itll ruin) its also tar that you are sticking on your car, be sure you know what your doing... but dont let it scare you...its a really nice improvement |

i agree it cost a lot but it makes a big diffrence. when I did my doors it really increased my mids. I am not sure about the trunk because I replaced my amp the same time i did the matting.

yeah, when i did my trunk lid, (this actually startled and surprised me) i noticed that it helped my 6x9"s on my rear deck a whole lot too, so needless to say im happy, and have further plans to dynamat the rest of my car in the near future
