If thats the case.. Ive seen that before.. Its kinda interesting, but I think it would get annoying if you use your trunk at all.

Yeah, I personally wouldn't want it unless it was an all out show car.

actually, if its what i think it is. its just some new bolts that make the trunk open like normal, but it flips down instead of just going up. so like the tails on the trunk face out towards the back of the car. its not a hassle if you use the trunk all the time at all, actually gives you more room w/o having to worry about hitting your head. it looks very dope

Well that auction is for the instructions on how to do it...or are you paying for the hinges for that???
The auctions I've seen for that want like 50+ for the How to on it....Not worth that much to me even though I like it... |

I think it would be a neat addition to even a street car........it would make heads turn at the grocery store when your mom borrows your car

ouch
youd be crazy to bid on that when you can do it your self with a pair of honda accord gas shocks (for the trunk lid) and a hinge.
takes about 30 mins to do for any do-it-your-self person. no bodyshop guy needed. |

Looks like you would just add hinges to the end of the trunk arms. Nothing too complicated....
Wonder how long they would last...

for all who want to know
Heres a quick instruction pic on how to do this to ANY car.
and all you really need is 30 mins and 2 gas shocks. (no hinges). you can make the trunk tilt by welding 2 pieces of metal and drilling a hole thru them and the trunk support http://users.rcn.com/latnhacker/car/step1.gif http://users.rcn.com/latnhacker/car/step2.gif http://users.rcn.com/latnhacker/car/step3.gif now was that hard? when i get a chance ill take pictures up close to show and tell |
