Need to know everything.
Ok so I might have found a b18c1 to put into my Del sol. I need to know if anyone has done a swap. This is what the add reads.
"DOHC VTEC, motor and trans from a 1995 acura integra gs-r. 150,000 KM recent timing belt and clutch. $3250 obo" Now if I was to purchase this engine...I need to know exactly what I need to do it...(mount, engine and tranny, ecu, etc etc) I need to konw everything...Also...if anyone has any information pages on step by step on how to do it...that would be great. Thanks...any replies to this would be nice.

Yeah I think it' too high..I would never buy it for that much...that's what he's asking...but I could low ball him...and not pay that much for it....considering I would have to order tranny mounts. ECU...shit like that....would I have to get a new rad..or would mine work that I have?
And the VTEC wire....mine is a SOHC VTEC..would I need to re wire it..or would it be plug and play?

BTW- That's $3250 canadian, right? About $2250 US, which isn't bad.
Assuming he's just selling the longblock, here's what you need: Intake and exhaust manifolds, throttle body, engine mounts, ecu, tranny, miscellaneous sensors, wiring harnesses. As for your VTEC wire, you will have to reconnect it to the new ecu and the new engine, but you should be able to use the existing wire. |

Yeah he said it was a complete motor...everything is there....except for when the accident happened the motor mount on one side was pulled out and now a new setup has to be put on the motor...ex. drilling and tapping it out to put a new motor mount on it...ugh that could be a pain in the arse.
