Brembo
$120 for a pair of brembo crossdrilled and slotted rotors. Is that suppose to be cheap?

Why not? My rotors warped and I need new rotors and brake pads. Are those brake rotors i just mentioned bad? And another question. Brembo doesnt make brake pads for the 6th gen accords so could I use AEM brake pads with the brembo rotors? |

Its $120 from Evasive Motorsport. Anyone ever had negative experience with them? They also have $120 rotors/pair on sale for a lot of honda/acura cars.

i don't know, but the price seems about right. i have just regular rotors and finally i made the car stop warping them like crazy. when you put them in make sure you clean the calipers really good, and take out the caliper piston and check if it seizes somehow.

um... why would how much hp you have matter to your brake quality? if you road race, or autoX then i'd get brembos. or if you have a 2900lb car with braking for a much lighter car (damn honda) remember though, these are stock size rotors, dont expect to see a huge difference in braking power, you might shave a bit with them being matched to some good pads.

These brakes will stop you the same as your regualr brakes (assuming they are the same size). Only difference is these brakes will cool much faster. As mentioned above, these brakes are used for either looks, or people who do things like rally race. If your stock brakes have caught fire from you being too aggressive on your brakes then you need these...if not they would be strictly for looks. But $120 isnt bad I guess.. |

well... with my stock rotors i got brade fade like crazy. the slotted helped a bit, but your rims get MUCH dirtier for some reason. my rotors are about shot, and im gonna give cross drilled a try and see how that does. both will give you weak rotors and if you hoestly have a problem with getting them to glow orange, they might crack.ive had mine hot enough where i can touch something on them and it smolders, and about catches on fire. your right though, with cold rotors your not improving your stoping time at all, but if you beat on them, after 1 min your stoping time has slowed down, and with cross drilled you can stop a lot closer to cold rotor than blistering hot. our honda uses real thin(at least mine does, and im assuming yours are the same or thinner) rotors compaired to cars who are used more frequently in racing (skylines 300zx's nsx's rx7's supras, WRX, etc.) and i think thats why you see some of them with cross drilled and slotted. but on another board of mine, alot of the autoX'ers have had premature warping wear problems on the X-drilled and slotted rotors. just a warning

Ok guys, but answer my questions.
Anyone ever had experience with evasive motorsport? Since brembo doenst make brake pads for the 6th gen accord, can I use AEM brake pads with the Brembo rotors? Or does it have to be AEM pads and rotors or brembo pads and rotors, etc. And I dont race , does that mean I cant use these rotors like you guys were saying? I have a slow ass accord. Thanks. |

dude go for it and dont look back. I wish my rl had better breaks. If i dont alot of high speed stops my breaks start to fad, not alot thought i've got them so hot a few times that you can feel the heat coming off them why you walk by the wheel.
