Not worth the time, effort, money or thought.........
Take that $3000+ and get a motor swap. Much more effective solution.

I have a d15b7 and don't know shit about hondas because this is my first (civ dx 95), but I can tell you they are quite slooowww. I hope you atleast have a stick!
My friend says v-tev engines are the shit, he says they're the best for the buck. I want to know what makes them special? Whats the biggest I can put in my civic? Can I smoosh a 3.0 v-tec in her with minor mods? |

do a search in google for vtec, and i'm sure theres a legnthly explantion somewhere. The biggest is the H23orF23(2.3ltrs). the 3ltr is possible just like anything is with enough money, but it will be the biggest pain in the ass ever. |

Low boost would be ok, but the toothpic rods will break in a heart beat. |

My friend tried it in his 95 d15b, lasted 2 weeks, But who cares its my opinion that the d15b is not boost or bottle friendly. |

i'm not saying to do it, just that its possible. if I wanted to boost one i'd just get a greddy kit and run 6psi.

wut car does a 3.0 VTEC come in?
guy that wants to supercharge.... don't.... i doubt they even make superchargers for 5th gen non-vtecs... i hav a DX too... *sigh* Anyway if you hav that much money u should definitly do for a motor swap... b18b - 142 HP b18c - 170 HP b16a2 - 160 (i think) anyway one of those motors would be your best choice. i think u could keep it under $3000 too... |
