general questions...
Hello all. Well, im plannin on gettin some new shocks and springs. My main question is what kind should i get. Id like for my car to be dropped about 1.3-1.5 inches. Also, i live in montreal and the road conditions are less than perfect (id like to take this oppertunity to thank the montreal blue collar workers ) so should i get some coilovers for winter and such. any information would be grealy appreciated.

don't get the cheap coilovers. i would go with kyb agx and eiback prokits. the cheapest setup that i could find is from cox imports for 542 shipped.

Cheap coilover sleeves (such as Ground Control, Skunk2, etc.) are just a spring that allows you to adjust the height of your car. You will need new struts to go with them. True coilovers (Apex'i, Tein, Tanabe... the list goes on) are a spring/strut combo that is perfectly matched for eachother. This is the best way to go, but is fairly expensive.
