Kicker?
What do you guys think about 2 12 Kicker Comp VR subs, with a 600 watt HiFonics amp in a 2002 coupe? Do u think I should run an amp to my stock speakers, and take out all teh bass so its all voice, and run all my bass thru my subs?
Does ne1 kno any websites with cheap car audio? I got a quote for 2 12s for 105 each, and 265 for the amp. Retail is 200 for each sub, and 400 for the amp. --- 02coupev6 |

here's what I think..
Feeding 600w rms to 2 12inch VRs, isnt the ideal way to go.. I would give them 400-500 rms, per sub!!! If you want them to sing. sorry, I dont know about prices/websites..

so you'd get 2 600w hifonics amps?
if so 1 jbl 1200.1 would probably be cheaper.. And it has many useful features..

this juss my opinion or better yet what i would do....I dont really like the way Kicker Comp VR subs sound...I would go with 2 Kicker Solobaric S12L7 subwoofers in a custom box...Then power them with a Hifonics Zeus(1500 watts)....thats just what i would put in my teg....just to let you know my brother has 2 Kicker solobaric S12L5 subwoofers in his 93 honda accord powered by a Hifonics Zeus(1500watts)...If you dont like Hifonics then look into Phoenix Gold amps or Rockford Fosgates....they are really good too especially the MONO Rockford Fosgate amps...juss my 2 cents...

Yeh i would def do that too, my cousin has 2 12 L7s wit a hifonics amp, but that is way out of my budget, and 1500 watt amp is like 800-1000

Yea it would be kind of expensive but hey....if you want a system that people can feel and that kicks ass then it might be a good way to start....but it all depends on what your preference is...
