tranny help!!!!
does any one know how to make the hybrid trannys i have an si tranny thats busted but gears are good the rod that connects to the linkeage came out and its an si tranny and i have an hf tranny so i want to change to make a better tranny but dont know hoe can any one help thanks

get a helms manual, figure out what gear ratio's you want, and start swapping stuff around til it fits. you'll probably just want to take them both to a tranny shop and tell them what you want and they can replace anything else like bearings/synchro's which you might as well do since you got the tranny open.

Dude, no offense but you really need to start putting periods and commas on your threads.
However, I will attempt to reply to what I can decipher from your post. If you want a hybrid tranny, you state specifics. But regradless, you must be a somewhat seasoned mechanic to get transmission work done. Gearing is some complicated stuff. Read up on it more. Like AZ said, get a Helm's manual. |
