Well, I sold the del Sol tonight...
I felt a sense of loss as I watched her drive away in another man's arms...
Well, now I have a large wad of cash ($4,150) to be exact, and no vehicle to get to work in the morning. I really hate to say this to you guys, but I'm going to have to buy a truck. Yes, a Ford Ranger pickup. I'm in a band and we're doing really well, and I need a way to haul my drums and band equipment. Besides, the del Sol wasn't practicle at all, and I want something with a little more power and cargo capacity. But I feel like I've lost my best friend watching someone else drive Fiona (my del Sol) away. *sigh* someone comfort me... - Dzur |

Why!?!? I'll tell you why!!! Because the del Sol wasn't practicle!! I can't live only having two seats!! I have to move to Ohio soon! I have to haul stuff! I have to be able to take more than one person in my car!!
*sob*...why I don't know...but I really did need a more practicle car. What else could I get? ARGH I hate trucks, and I hate Fords even worse...but I have no choice!! Mazda Protege5 - too expensive for me right now WRX wagon - too expensive Civic hatch - underpowered, too small I NEED cargo & passenger room - Dzur |

youre really limiting yourself
there are tons of choices out there that are a lot better than a pos ranger (my buddy had one and theyre absolute crap) what about a jeep cherokee (not those crap liberties)? |

Damn straight...I don't care about the Ford knocking (I can forgive ignorance) but S-10s are pieces of shit. I speak from experience. I've got an '01 Sonoma (a GMC S-10) that is a complete and utter fuckfest. Yesterday the thing died on me at a stop. I got it home and tore it apart looking for the problem...nothing. 16,000 motherfucking miles and it's already fucking up. Fuck GM and fuck S-10s. Oh...and fuck Rangers. I'm a Ford man but why do you think I've got what is basically a GM version of the Ranger? Sure...I screwed up buying that as well, but i've got a few friends who've got Rangers and while they're decently reliable, they're worthless for towing or hauling. Oooooh...a big scary V6. Try hauling a car to the track or large furniture with that. Not gonna happen. My Sonoma has a higher payload capacity and even that's low at 3100lbs with it's might 190hp 4.3L. Just steer clear of trucklets altogether.

Yeah, I bought the del Sol back in Feburary after I got out of boot camp.
I'm going up to look at a Jeep Cherokee today here in a couple of hours. See guys, the thing is - when I move and/or drive people, I need more room than two seats. Not sure where I'm moving to in Ohio yet - I forget the name of the place. - Dzur, the Depressed One |

Well...a bike wouldn't exactly be an improvment...
I ended up buying a Jeep Cherokee 4.0L I-6. I wish I had a Honda or bike...but I don't have time for them right now. - Dzur |
