Wheel well covers?

Does anyone remove the plastic crap in the wheel wells so that the tires dont rub up against them? i used to have my coilovers all the way out (slammed) but i just bought new rims and tires and accidently got 195,60,r15 when i had 185,65,r14. now the tire is too wide and i had to raise the front up over 2 1/2 inches and the back 1 1/2 inches so it wouldnt rub.
