I have an 02 accord coupe v6, and was wondering if i dropped the front end 1.5-2.0 inches and leave the rear end at stock height, if i would need cambers. Also, if i dropped the car 1.5-1.75 in the rear and 1.75-2.0 in the front, would i need front cambers or rear cambers? Finally, what is the max amount i can lower my car in order to not need cambers.

Suggestions on coilovers with stock struts, and suggestions on springs with stock struts, and cambers would be helpfuL!.. thanks

Don't drop just the front! It will throw the handling off and look like crap.

Whether or not you'll need a camber kit varies from car to car, but generally, the cutoff is around 1.5". You shouldn't use coilovers on stock struts, and you'll need springs like Eibach pro-kits if you're determined to stay on stock struts.

How bout if i got ground control coilovers, they say they work wit stock or aftermarket struts...

They are too stiff for stock struts, and IMHO you'll probably blow them out. People even have problems with cheaper aftermarket struts if you drop them too low.

the camber all depends on the car. i need to install a kit with a 1.3" drop. your best bet is get some eibach pro kits (1.3-1.5" drop) or the sport lines (1.8-2.0" drop)

OKay... umm since im only going to drop it a max of about 2 inches, would it be okay if i bought ground control coilovers, or eibach pro kit or the sport lines, and kept my car on stock struts since it says "they r made for stock" or wahtever....

if not what is a good combination for a 1.5 drop in teh back and 1.8 or so in the front.. that isnt too costly..

Its marketing hype, for a 2 inch drop, or if you go with coilovers, you should replace your struts. It will handle much better too, and that's what you're going for, right?

yeh, i just want to do it the correct way, i dont want to damage nething.. what set up do u think i should go wit for about a 2 inch drop in teh front and a 1.5-1.75 in teh back?

If you want coilover sleeves (to get the lower drop in the front), go with Ground Control. For struts, go with Koni yellows if you want nice ones (and you do for the GCs). That will run you a lot of money. The alternative is to just buy Eibach pro-kits and ride on stock struts for awhile.

well the reason i want it lower in the front is because the gap between teh tire and the gap is bigger in teh front than in the back, so if i just drop it the same all around then itll look like the front was higher than the back...

Yeah, I understand that. My car's the same way which is one reason I'm going to get coilovers. They just cost much more.

For your Ground Control/Koni yellow combo, you're looking at ~$800. For a set of Tein true coilovers, ~$1000. Spring and get true coilovers
