So..
I forgot my headlights on when I went to school the other day anyway, once I got my battery charged up since my battery lost power it needs the code for it to work once more.. I've gone to the local Honda dealership and they said it'd cost me $82 for them to take the radio out and get the code.. And the place I bought it from said they couldn't do it.. I know someone posted a while ago that they had this problem but I couldn't find it again in the forums.. Any suggestions? Should I just buy a new head unit and screw the $82 fee? or is there another way I can get my code?

yea I was in a rush to get to class.. every time I'm late I get an ISS so I generally rush my way out of the car.. It is loud as fk and I think I'm deaf to it at times.. I've gotten out and left my lights on before, just I've noticed it rather quickly because I'm usually near my car

just get a new head unit. better sounds and more options that way. 150 gets you a decent cd/mp3 player these days

I'm not espically concerned about getting an awesome head unit because I just use my iPod with my car kit to listen to music anyways.. so anything would really do

can a mod or someone move this to a forum it'd be seen more? I'd really like to fix this without having to buy a new head unit

It may be in your manual. I know people have put them in there before. Or, if you know how to take the radio out yourself, i believe sometimes the code is on the back of the stereo. good luck

usually honda will give you the code based on the vin number of the car. hopefully no one ever changed the headunit.

I got it fixed now.. You were right, it was hand written behind the glovebox.. Just had to pull the glove box out and it was written behind there.. Thanks though!
