the 9700 has problems running on motherboards that don't support agp 8x. They have suck massive power requirments that the 4x agp boards can barly run it. I have a gforce 3 ti200 and i only have this card becase my gf bought it for me my birthday. But if i were you i would look into a gforce4 ti.

BTW if you going with a gforce 4 mx card, don't. Go for the gforce 3, it can display some textures that the gforce4 mx cards cant
