The people that are really into cars will be able to respect just about any car and the car's driver. The people that hate on imports and vice versa (cuz there are imports that talk smack about domestics) truely aren't into cars like they think they are. I might not like what people do to their cars or I might just not like a particular car from the get go...but i'm not gonna go walkin around talkin sh!t about them cuz I don't like it. They do and that's all that matters, and I will respect them for that. Car modding all around is like artwork...you have your favorite artists/genre and those are the works that you'll rave about and then you'll have your artists/genres that you don't like...you'll still respect that artist for their work, but you just won't go around hypin it up or hangin it in your house.
I agree though that everyone just needs to get over themselves and just respect each other for the love of cars in general that they have.
