The best engine to swap into a civic with ease is the integra GSR's engine. It'll give you a total of 170hp at the flywheel and should be good enough for 1/4mile times in the 14's about that of a stock Mustang GT. Oh the price is about $4000-4500 if you do the swap yourself and get a good price on the engine.
