yes it's vtec
lev means Low Emission Vehicle (almost all honda's qualify for this so no it's not a clue)
no the solenoid will not say vtec on it.
and the vtec initiation point should be 5200 rpm
it can kick on earlier or a little later (depending on throttle position)
