the rears are 6.5in Rips with suspended tweats
and the fronts are 5.25 in Riot compontents
the rears are rated at 350 max, 150 continuous
the fronts are 300 max, 150 continuous
don't knock boss till you hear them
alot of doubters have changed their minds after sitting in my car and right now i have some boss speakers that retail for about $16 dollars a pair that are running off my deck
these are 150 watts max
anyway, i don't think it is strange for a speaker to have that high of a power rating... decent subs are usually 200 or higher for RMS
