Especially if the car sits low to the ground or you are planning on lowering it. Cuz the CAI sits down lower or extends lower than a ram air. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just goin by hearsay.

I've never heard any negitive comments on CAI... the filter basicly sits behind your Fog lights (On our cars) ... so it's not exactly scrapping the ground or draggin.. It will however collect a lot more small road debris. But its a washable re-useable filter, you need to clean it periodically ... Rocks won't get thrown into it or anything that drastic... just road spray... it all depends on the model .. My freinds 240's Injen intake actually sits in a very well protected area.
