first things first he started treating you like that hoping you would break up with him first,well since you didn't he broke up with you instead, second he probably liked another girl while being with you thats why he wanted to leave, third maybe he was scared of being commited and notice he was getting to attached to you and didn't want to be in a situation like that. thats just my opinon.
