A: Doh! you cant format your harddrive (the one with windows on it) while running windows! get your hands on a win98 startup disk or dos 6.2 (or other version) floppy. then boot your computer to the floppy and use the format command in dos to format the drive. then you can install windows again from the cd drive.
Q: can you follow that?
