well i kinda stoped taking care of it a month or 2 ago once these fish took over. theres 3-4 inches of rocks on the bottom so im not worried about the bb's breaking through with how little im pumping it. the tank looks expecially dirty in that photo cause i had to move the top portion of the weeds over to get a strait in shooting area. the tank was setup to be like a freshwater pond with crawfish, turtles, and local florida freshwater fish so i needed a heavy coat of floating plants on the top for the turtle and baby fish to try and hide(which has worked poor at best). once i get these bastards out im gonna drop a few dollars into it again to clean out the water and get it looking nice again. it gets direct morning light for 4-5 hrs every day so keeping the algea under control is very difficult without scraping every day. i usta have shrimp and snails that would keep it all in check, however those fish, and the turtle but mainly the fish, managed to make them all disapear.
