Why do Americans make their cars slower than Japan? Why do Americans not want to have Japan's REALLY awesome cars over here?? Why do we not have the FTO, Silvia, GTR, Supra (since they still make in Japan).

We cant have Jspec cars because of our strict emissions and safety regulations.. Its not a matter of what we want..But what we cant have.

edit: Plus the aftermarket makers dont really profit from having to change/add all the extra parts to make the compliant with our rules which either ends use getting them [such as the supra] or causes us to never get them to start with.
