I've long been a fan of Latyrx. They're part of the Solesides Crew and the Quannum Collective (as are members of Blackalicious and DJ Shadow). Lyrics Born is also pretty nice (also a member of Latyrx along with Lateef The Truth Speaker). Good hip hop is hard to come by these days. It's like finding gold in a sea of bullshit. If you're down for something insanely weird, I'd also suggest some Prince Paul. And if you're in a geek hip hop mood, MC Paul Barman is hard to beat. Oh...and for a good laugh, MC Chris is always good.
