The real question is, is the taste of chaos tour coming anywhere near me? The answer is no. Besides, last year's line up was only so-so. Haven't seen this year's. I've pretty much given up on big tours and arena concerts anyway. There's something about being in a small venue that's hard to match. Being 10 feet away from a band feels a lot more real than being 100 feet away.
I actually used to be a huge concert-goer. Especially in the local scene. I know most of the local bands and they know me. Somehow I still can't go to local shows without someone coming up to me who knows me. I'm not saying there
haven't been times when I wanted to murder someone at a show...especially when stupid girls twirl around like a bunch of fucking hippies at a metal show. I went to Sno-Core in 2000 and was about an inch away from beating these two hippie bitches to death while they were twirling around during System Of A Down. I mean...seriously.
