It's really nothing against Greg... I just like Brett's stuff better. Back when they were doing it together (everything until Stranger Than Fiction...which was an awesome album as well) everything was great. That stuff was beyond punk...it was better than any punk band ever could be because it was so smart and diverse. Then Brett left to manage Epitaph and it didn't sound as good. Grey Race was ok...the album that followed it was not. Greg just didn't write songs as well as far as I'm concerned. If I had to define Bad Religion it would sadly be defined by Mr. Brett. I don't agree with the way he does business, but when he was the larger part of Bad Religion, I liked the sound better. The last Bad Religion album was way better than the past 2 in my opinion. The older stuff is far better (Against The Grain is probably the best. Suffer is awesome, too) but if we're going modern Bad Religion, the Mr. Brett stuf has gotta win.
