It all depends on what you want man. The crosses you posted are more of what I'd call "latin" crosses since that design is a lot more common among hispanics. You could go with a celtic cross or a traditional cross depending on the idea you want to convey. You have to remember that people will look at a tat as a representation of an idea and the design should be indicative of an idea rather than just a design. My ex did a great drawing of a cross laid over a heart that looked great and I'd considered getting it as a tat...but since I'm not religious I decided against it. I'd find a friend that's artistic and describe what you want and see what they draw. If you don't have any artistic friends, let me know. My roommate (and best friend of 10+ years) is an art major and an incredible artist that would probably make something wicked cool for you.
