I just advise taking the pain killers whether you think you need them or not, and have a cup for blood the entire first and second day (some need it, some dont...I sure did). 
 
I now remember what it was like to not be able to close my mouth.  I was so happy when my molars touched for the first time after the surgery   
 
As much as I didnt enjoy it, at the time, Id have to say that it was my best medical-mouth ordeal (yes better than just regular stuff)

Hahah man...it's funny..cause I think your the same as me.  today my molars touched for the first time!!  I was so happy...the first thing that came across my mind was eating a steak.  But that isn't going to happen for a while as of yet....
