Well, I work at Cingular and sell phones all day. We used to not specify with our customers on how to charge their batteries..just the fact that the Li-On batteries don't require a minimum life amount to be charged like the old batteries did. So, with that said, I have customers who charge their battery for the first time while driving home from our store. They then unplug it like 20 minutes later (when they get home) and continue to charge it overnight until it's full. Most of those customers, always come back to the store about a week later to complain that their battery is not holding its charge....
So I've been telling customers not to charge their phone until they sleep that night to give it an over-night charge. The customers that follow that idea still haven't had any problems with their battery holding its charge. It seems as if these batteries have like a first-time-charge-memory or something. Would something like that make sense?

No thats retarted, what are you thinking!!!
:o

yeah that does sound about right at least I believe it makes some good bit of sense
