I think what he means is different route people have taken building up their cars. Turbo, NA, Supercharged or whatever. For example, you would keep a "journal" of parts you have added, the ultimate goal, and also any problems you ran into while building or fixing the car up. At least that's my interpretation. Correct me if I'm wrong.
