That is not a bad wideband system. I prefer AEM or PLX (hardwired) tho but as long as it works.....
Theoretically that is right. Get your A/F target correct and your system will be considered tuned. However it's efficiency is still a question since the tuning device is still what's controlling the signals and fuel map. The more adjustability, the better. For example, the tuning/adjustability on an AFC is nowhere near what AEM-EMS can do. So it is more likely to achieve higher horsepower on a more tunable system.
My advice is just to make sure that your tuner is skilled on whatever tuning device you are getting ready to use....
