You can test the fan's fuses, wirings, etc to see if its connected right, or test the fan itself by hardwiring it to the battery for a test (use spade clips)
Or, just drive around for awhile, let the car heat up, drive home, let it run and listen for the fan to come on.
After I did my rad upgrade my fan didnt come on and I thought something was wrong (relay, fuse, wires, blahblah). Turned out it was just more efficient and the fan didnt have to come on yet. It could be that its just cold enough outside.
You are driving a teg now, and its rad is 2x the size as the civic one you had before. That could be all that it is.
