damnit this was supposed to be the oppostie. I.e. Truce. Pdiggity ill delete it myself if problem arises. I was basically tryna clear up all the animosity and tension by admitting that neither is better. gah why do i suck at everything.


to be honest with you. If my motor didnt have 220,000 miles on it and reandomly explode, i would still have a D series. The whole reason for swapping was because i had a car that was sitting in a garage for a week because it died.

as my car sits, a turb d series would hand me my ass
a d series on a 75 shot, would hand me my ass
a d series with 12:1 compression would, yes, hand me my ass.

that does no make me wrong for swapping, circumstances led me to do so. But also, the point of me posting this is not to stir up arguement, but instead to let the D series kids know i do not think a D series is pointless. In fact, Az is right on a lot of points. You can make a D faster for less money than a swap costs, if your D is in good shape. (see above examples) Some people who have D's that would rape me include Thermal and OC civic. They spent less money building their respective D series than i did swapping. however, they had a good motor under the hood when they started. Mine was blown up and car didnt run. Fluids everywhere, problems everywhere. It was a good little soldier, and was on its last leg when i bought it because it was owned by a ricer who ran it hard daily before i came along.

So, this thread is basically an Oprah show, and im sorry for being an ass and belittling the D undeservingly.
