if u want a spring and shock combo. Then H & R springs or Eibach makes good quality springs. As far as the shock goes, yes the Koni yellows are lifetime warranty and I never had a problem with them ever blowing out or anything like that, and I drive on them very very hard. I heard KYB AGX were good for the price, just dont lower your car more than 1.5 inches (they even tell u this) with your car or they will blow eventually.
I personally believe a good true coilover is the way to go. Might as well do it right. But then again thats my opinion, and with the price of coilovers for Civics (quite cheap) they are not much more than a shock and spring combo. I payed about 850 dollars for my Eibach prokit, with Koni Yellows about a year and a half ago, and now u can get a good coilover for about 1100. So u be the judge.
