...weird. Um a couple possibilities I can think of. One being that he wants the money in UK currency so he can transfer that to euros. reason for that is he may stand to make a few extra bucks from better exchange rates possibly. And then to send the UK money (not sure what that is called) to him with info on where you want the bike shipped. Or it sounds like he could want the title changed from a french title to a UK title for some reason and then to change the transfer from UK to France when you get the bike. I can't imagine why. The letter is really hard to understand. Like Vegasguy said, be very careful with this. Ask for clarity and try not to budge until you get the info you are satisfied with.
