I would go with:
1. Type O Negative "World Coming Down"
2. Vast "Music for People"
3. Jimmie's Chicken Shack "Pushing the Salmonela Envelope"
4. Monster Magnet "Powertrip"
5. Alice In Chains "Greatest Hits"

That is very hard to narrow it down to five, I would have to name a couple notables like STP's "Purple", Nirvana's "Nevermind", Reveille's "Bleed the Sky" Rage's "Evil Empire", Flogging Molly 'Swagger". Damn there are a lot of awesome albumns. Very hard to narrow it down to five.
