With the growing number of honda owners, just as mitsubishi, acura, etc; the demand for auto customization grows as the care for rim weight decreases. if you REALLY are concerned about rim weight and performance racing, then keep your stock ones! unfortunately, you will not gain 'speed' by getting ultra low profile tires with chrome, black, gold or gunmetal rims.

A little bit of physics tells that almost always, bigger and wider rims/tires will actually decrease the acceleration of the car when you alter the wheels that it sits on! but, there is a fine line between customizing and downgrading. this is why you can turn on ESPN, and watch stadium racing, you will notice the tires always have almost zero fender gap with a stock tire. your advantages are pretty much limited to handling stability when you are altering the dimensions of a rim and tire. this is also, why some people choose to stay with stock tires, but will add +1 or +2 sizes. the overall handling will be increased this way, and also provide a smoother, cleaner fender/tire flow.

But if you realy dont care as i do, and judging from your profile, you seem a TAD bit more biased about looks over performance. more power to ya! those rims are definately SICK as hell man! now, if you wana go one step further and really make it look good. COILOVERS!! unless the lowering springs are giving you good feedback
