If you actually had 22's, there aren't many poor-gripping tires sold for 22's.
But it can change things up when different tires grip in different ways and the sidewalls roll in different ways, etc. That's a litle more of a concern with 65-series tires where there's plenty of crappy tires *cough* MXV4 *cough*.
