That's because cops are racist and profile too much.

Don't wanna hear it? Change the channel.....

There is always value in discussing and trying to understand things. It's ok to not care what or why, but what's the use in trying to silence others from discussing?

Hey, maybe if we all just ignore it then it'll go away???

Pimpin: I went to a predominantly white school in GA and the blacks cared the least about education. They were also the most outwardly racist assholes in the entire school, followed closely by the rednecks. There were some interesting fights.....

I was never exposed to racism until I moved to GA. Perhaps I just didn't even notice it if it was around me when I was a little younger, but upon setting foot in GA I was almost immediately exposed to it and noticed it......all I could think is what a sad world.

Unfortunately I believe people like to discriminate. I'm not sure whether it's truly human nature or just human habit because the two can be very difficult to differentiate between....but look at societies all around the world, there's always a way to discriminate. If it's not the color of your skin, it's your language, it's your accent, it's your clothes, it's your hairstyle, it's your teeth, it's your car, it's the way you walk, it's your body language, it's your manners, it's your sex, it's your sexual orientation, it's your religion.....there's always something that causes people to discriminate.

I think it's more likely to be human nature because we, as people, are social beings. However we are social with those who are similar to us, people we can identify with. Of course people who are most like us we can usually identify with the most.....and you need some way to discriminate (not in the racist/negative sense) between or among people, it's profiling. I think that's human nature and is to be expected.

The problem is where the discrimination becomes an outward expression to suppress, offend, annoy, harm, insult, or in any other way intentionally have a negative effect those who are different.
